Colin Farrell Tattoos

Colin James Farrell is Irish by birth. His extraordinary performances in the movies Daredevil, Phone Booth and his best performance was seen in Alexander. He is known for his screen presence. He has few tattoos but his tattoos speak a lot. He mostly has tribal tattoos.
The other designs which he has on his body are cross tattoo, textual tattoo, fish tattoo, religious tattoos. There are tattoos spread mostly all over his body.
 His most seen tattoo is the Polynesian tattoo which is done on his right arm. The tattoo covers most of his arm. He is more interested in having original ink tattoos. Though he has a half sleeve tattoo he has not used any kind of color in his tattoos.



Chest tattoo – He has a tattoo on the left part of his chest. This tattoo is almost on his heart. The tattoo is of a lotus with some words written on it. The lotus is having the words ‘ I Love No Matter’. This tattoo is dedicated to his wife. The tattoo is very simple and has no color included in it. In the words ‘I Love’ are horizontally tattoo where are ‘No Matter’ are vertically tattooed.

Wrist tattoo – Colin has some sort of Sanskrit symbol on his wrist. The tattoo depicts some sort of energy symbol. This tattoo is seen on his left hand. Later he covered this tattoo with some sort of Arabic lettering. This tattoo is done in original black ink and stretches for about 3 inches.

Forearm tattoo – On of his best tattoos are seen on his left arm. The tattoo is on the inner fore arm of his left hand. The tattoo was initially ‘ CARPE DIEM… With my girl.’ In Latin Carpe Diem means ‘Seize the day’. Later when he broke up with his wife he covered up the words ‘with my girl’ with a big cross tattoo. The cross tattoo is also tattooed in a simple cross design. The tattoo looks more attractive and macho now. To be precise this tattoo suits his personality.




Right arm tattoo - This is the biggest and best tattoo of Colin. It is a huge design of a Polynesian tattoo. It is a tribal design which he got it done when he was in Tahiti. He had to go through lot of pain when he was getting this tattoo done. He was heard saying it was a brave thing to do for someone who is scared of going to the dentist. It is a very complicated and a traditional tribal design. This tattoo starts from his shoulder ball and ends near his elbow. Some of the designs that can be seen is that of a fish design.

Finger tattoo - A romantic tattoo is seen on his left hand ring finger. The tattoo is seen right above his knuckles. He tattooed the nickname of his first wife Millie. His first wife’s name is Amelia Warner. It is quite amazing how he got 6 letters tattooed on his single finger.“Millie” was a nickname for his first wife, Amelia Warner.
